Abstract:
A silica gel clay preparation technique, mixing active silicic acid and an alkaline compound, then heating and curing; adding active silicic acid and maintaining a temperature, obtaining a silica sol, then concentrating same; purifying the silica sol by means of a strong acid cation resin and adding a metal ion chelating agent; putting the obtained substance through the strong acid cation resin, an anion resin, and the strong acid cation resin in succession, obtaining an acidic silica sol; adding an alkaline compound not containing metal ions, obtaining an alkaline silica sol; placing the prepared silica sol into a reaction vessel, adding deionized water, and applying heat to raise the temperature thereof until a reaction is complete; maintaining a system temperature in the reaction vessel, adding a polymer modifier under agitated conditions, and continuing a reaction under agitation and a constant temperature for 5 hours, until the reaction is complete, obtaining a silica gel clay. Advantages of the present invention are: high silica sol purity and high stability.
