Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a fertilizer for Araliaceae plants that is capable of efficiently increasing the content of specific ginsenosides and shortening the cultivation period. Disclosed is a fertilizer for Araliaceae plants that contains a silicate. Also disclosed is a fertilizer for Araliaceae plants that can increase the content of ginsenosides in an Araliaceae plant by said silicate. Said ginsenoside is at least one type of ginsenoside selected from the group consisting of ginsenoside F1, ginsenoside F2, ginsenoside F5, ginsenoside Rb1, ginsenoside Rb2, ginsenoside Rc, ginsenoside Rd, ginsenoside Re, ginsenoside Rf, ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Rg2(S), ginsenoside Rh1(S), and ginsenoside Rh1(R).
