Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel silicon carbide composite sintered body which is useful as an electromagnetic wave absorber and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention relates to a silicon carbide composite sintered body comprising carbon fibers as a first carbonaceous material. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the silicon carbide composite sintered body, said method comprising sintering a composition to be sintered which comprises at least silicon nano-grains and a carbonaceous material containing carbon fibers.
