Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a silicon carbide sintered body, and a silicon carbide sintered body obtained thereby, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a synthetic powder through mechanical alloying from a silicon carbide material and a sintering aid material; and sintering the synthetic powder, wherein the sintering aid is at least any one selected from the group consisting of an Al-C system, an Al-B-C system and a B-C system, and a silicon carbide sintered body, which is densified even while being sintered at a low temperature and has high strength and electrical conductivity, can be prepared.
