Abstract:
Provided is a polymer that functions as a leveling agent to impart a high degree of smoothness to a coating film without creating defects in the coating film surface. Specifically, a polymer having a silicone chain at one end, wherein the number-average molecular weight of the silicone chain is in a range of 2,000–20,000 and the silicone chain-containing polymer is devoid of polymerizable unsaturated groups.
