Abstract:
A silicone coating windshield wiper rubber strip extrusion preparation method, comprising the following steps: formulating a rubber material: rolling and mixing a high tear resistant silicone, a fluorosilicone, a fumed silicone, a rubber compound and a vulcanizing agent to produce a mixed rubber material; adding the mixed rubber material to an extruder, extruding, and cutting according to the length of a windshield wiper to obtain a windshield wiper rubber strip substrate; spraying a coating on a surface of the windshield wiper rubber strip substrate, and curing for 5-10 minutes at 150-180 degrees Celsius to produce a finished product. The coating comprises 50-70 parts by weight of a liquid silicone grease, 10-30 parts by weight of a filling material and 0.1-5 parts by weight of a platinum curing agent, the filling material being molybdenum disulfide, graphite or graphene. Using extrusion forming to prepare the windshield wiper rubber strip increases production efficiency and reduces molding costs. The prepared rubber strip can form a non-oily nano water repellent coating layer on a glass surface.
