Abstract:

Provided are: silicone particles containing alkenyl groups on the particle surface, the silicone particles having rubber elasticity, low cohesiveness, and high dispersibility in resins; and a method for producing the same. Silicone particles in which the surface of silicone elastomer spherical particles having a volume-average grain size of 0.1-100 μm is covered by polymethylalkenylsilsesquioxane, wherein the silicone particles are characterized in that the mass of the polymethylalkenylsilsesquioxane is 0.5-25 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the silicone elastomer spherical particles, and the polymethylalkenylsilsesquioxane has alkenylsilyl groups on the surface thereof.
