Abstract:
The present invention relates to a silk suture with enhanced tensile strength and knot strength and a method for preparing the same. The silk suture according to the present invention is treated with 4-hexylresorcinol, so that a silk suture having enhanced tensile strength and knot strength, an increased biodegradation rate, and excellent antibacterial activity can be produced through a simple process.
