Abstract:
[Problem] A purpose of the present invention is to provide a siloxane compound having an amide bond and a (meth)acrylate group. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a siloxane compound that has a purity useful as a medical material. [Solution] A siloxane compound that is represented by formula (1) and that has two or more of a group represented by formula (2) per molecule [Chem. 1] [in formula (1), each R independently represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms, each R1 independently represents a group defined by said R or a group represented by formula (2) or (3), each R2 independently represents a group represented by formula (2) or (3), p represents an integer of 0-500, q represents an integer of 0-50, the quantity of the group represented by formula (2) is 2 or more per molecule, the order in which a siloxane unit is bound is not restricted to what has been described above, and may be bound randomly or may form a block unit, [Chem. 2] (in formula (2), R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms, L1 represents a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1-5 carbon atoms, L2 represents a divalent hydrocarbon group having 2-10 carbon atoms and optionally having an ether bond, the site indicated by * is a binding spot with respect to a silicon atom in formula (1)), [Chem. 3] (in formula (3), R4, L1, and L2 are each as described above, and the site indicated by ** is a binding spot with respect to a silicon atom in formula (1))].
