Abstract:
The present invention relates to a silver clay composition and a method for preparing the same and, more specifically, to a silver clay composition comprising a silver powder as a material for silver crafts, an organic binder, and water, and to a method for preparing the same. As for the silver clay composition and the method for preparing the same according to the present invention, the silver clay composition is prepared by using a silver powder comprising silver particles of different sizes, glycol, glycerol, an organic binder comprising a thickener, and water. In addition, the silver clay composition comprises 0.54-0.56 parts by weight of the glycol, 0.01-0.03 parts by weight of the glycerol relative to 9 parts by weight of the silver powder. In addition, the glycol is polyethylene glycol. In addition, the thickener includes xanthan gum and locust bean gum.
