Abstract:

A silver halide color photographic material excellent in delineation of a text black/white image and in appreciable light source dependence of the white background. The material has at least one photosensitive emulsion layer and one non-photosensitive emulsion layer both formed on a support. The material is characterized in that the difference between the CIE whiteness level Wa and measured under white light illumination and the CIE whiteness level Wb defined below and measured under monochromatic light illumination at the unexposed portion after the color development is below 9.0.
