Abstract:
Provided are: a silver product which has high hardness (HV), rarely undergoes metal corrosion or discoloration and comprises pure silver and an ultra-high-purity silver alloy; and a method for manufacturing the silver product. A silver product comprising pure silver or a silver alloy having purity of 99.9% by weight or more, the silver product being characterized in that, when the Vickers hardness of the silver product is 60 HV or more and the heights of a peak appearing at 2θ = 38°±0.2° and a peak appearing at 2θ = 44°±0.4° in an X-ray diffraction chart obtained by the XRD analysis of the silver product are respectively defined as h1 and h2, the h2/h1 value is 0.2 or more; and a method for manufacturing the silver product.
