Abstract:
Disclosed are a similar document search apparatus, similar document search system, similar document search method, and similar document search program wherein a user can, according to an objective of a search, in relation to recall, relevance, and search speed, arbitrarily specify relative importance or priority thereof, thereby arbitrarily modifying settings for search capability conditions. The disclosed similar document search system comprises a document collection unit (1) for collecting a group of documents to be searched A; a search condition input unit (2) for a user to input a search-request document B and additionally arbitrarily specify search capability conditions C; and a similar document search unit (3); wherein the similar document search unit (3) comprises a dynamic capability adjustment function (10) (search capability setting means) for dynamically adjusting or setting search capability according to specified search capability conditions, wherein a search is performed for documents similar to the search-request document under the search capability that has been adjusted or set by action of the dynamic capability adjustment function (10).
