Abstract:
Proposed is a technology addressing the problem of difficulty in viewing the display of a number of images of the same person that have been retrieved as a result of a search for person images similar to a person image as a search key. Provided is a similar image search system which searches for person images similar to a search key image (3005), which is a person image as a search key, wherein a plurality of retrieved person images (3031 to 3141) are classified into a plurality of groups on the basis of similarity between the person images, and grouped display is performed in which at least one of the person images that belong to each group is displayed in a display area (3201, 3202, 3203) provided for each group. The grouped display is performed in such a manner that the order of similarity between the groups and the search key image can be visually confirmed.
