Abstract:
This invention relates to a method for producing pluripotent stem cells, comprising: a step for introducing, as targeting vectors, artificial chromosomes having genetically modified chromosome fragments; and a step for screening homologous recombined pluripotent stem cells by using SNP arrays to measure the number of partial or whole copies of the introduced artificial chromosomes. The invention also relates to a method for detecting pluripotent stem cells genetically modified by homologous recombination.
