Abstract:
In order to obtain a simple step for escalators that is able to inhibit the movement of a step tread in the lateral direction, this simple step for escalators is provided with: a step tread 1; an upper step-side support part 2 that is provided in an upper step-side portion of the step tread 1 and is placed over an upper step-side shaft 7; a leg part 3 that is provided to a lower step-side portion of the step tread 1 and that extends downward from the step tread 1; a lower step-side support part 4 that is provided to the leg part 3 and that is supported by a lower step-side shaft 8; and a support part fixing member 5 that fixes the upper step-side support part 2 to the upper step-side shaft 7.
