Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of the prevention and control of heavy metal pollution, particularly to a simplified method for reducing the cadmium content of rice and the use thereof. Provided in the present invention is a simplified method for reducing the cadmium content of rice, comprising: mixing a seed and a seed soaking agent for seed soaking, sowing the soaked seed, and harvesting same to obtain the rice with a low Cd content. The active ingredient of the seed soaking agent comprises trace elements required by plants. The trace elements comprise a selenium element, a silicon element, a zinc element or an iron element, or a mixture of the selenium element and the iron element, a mixture of the selenium element and the silicon element, or a mixture of the selenium element and the zinc element. According to the seed soaking method of the present invention, the seed is mixed with the seed soaking agent for seed soaking, and is then planted in a conventional manner, so that the rice with a Cd content not exceeding the standard can be obtained by means of a low-cost and convenient-to-operate method.
