Abstract:
This simulated moving-bed chromatographic separation method comprises: separating, with use of an eluent, a component weakly-adsorptive to an adsorbent, a component strongly-adsorptive to adsorbent, and an intermediately-adsorptive component having an absorptivity that is intermediate between said two components, all of which contained in a raw solution, by using a circulation system which has at least three unit filled columns filled with the adsorbent and linked in series and endlessly by pipes and which is divided into at least three sections that are annularly continuous from the upstream side to the downstream side such that each of the sections has at least one of the unit filled columns. There is a particular relationship between a position where the raw solution is fed, a position where a weakly-adsorptive fraction is extracted, a position where an intermediately-adsorptive fraction is extracted, and a position where a strongly adsorbed fraction is extracted. This chromatographic separation system is suitable for carrying out the chromatographic separation method.
