Abstract:
A simulated sound control device for an electrically driven moving body enables, even if the electrically driven moving body is in a stopped state, a walker to be aware of the presence of the electrically driven moving body and take a danger avoidance action on his/her own will.
A simulated sound control device (3) controls a simulated sound which is emitted outward from a sound emitting body (4) of an electrically driven moving body (1), at least a part of the power for driving the electrically driven moving body (1) being generated by an electric motor. The simulated sound control device (3) is provided with a speed range determining section (6) for determining the speed range of the electrically driven moving body (1), and also with a simulated sound generating section (5). When the speed range determining section (6) determines that the key switch (7) of the electrically driven moving body (1) has been turned on and the electrically driven moving body (1) has been stopped, the simulated sound generating section (5) controls the sound emitting body (4) so that the sound emitting body (4) emits a simulated sound.
