Abstract:
The present invention provides a simulation device capable of effectively simulating various operations in a cell culture by creating a work environment that is closer to an actual work environment with sterile equipment. The simulation device includes a finger-forearm detector, an information processing device, and a video display device to simulate the operation of sterile equipment. The finger-forearm detector detects the position of at least any of a hand, fingers, and forearm. The information processing device includes a finger-forearm appropriate position determination unit for comparing the position of at least any of the hand, fingers, and forearm detected by the finger-forearm detector with the coordinate position of virtual sterile equipment to determine whether the hand, fingers, or forearm is in an appropriate position. When the determination unit determines that at least any of the hand, fingers, and forearm is located in an inappropriate position, the video display device presents cautionary guidance on a screen displaying a work area for the sterile equipment.
