Abstract:
The present invention relates to a technology of simulating the movement of mandible. The present invention relates to a mandibular movement simulation technology which provides 3D simulation of mandibular movement according to human mouth movement, by obtaining 3D mandible data in which teeth, the mandible, and mandibular condyles are segmented from CT image data, obtaining 3D face scan data and 3D teeth scan data for various facial expressions and mouth shapes by means of a 3D face scanner, and then obtaining a mandibular movement model by matching the 3D mandible data, the 3D face scan data, and the 3D teeth scan data on the basis of the mandibular teeth.
