Abstract:
Disclosed is a single ball machining apparatus. The single ball machining apparatus comprises: a transfer unit which is arranged on a base and which moves in the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction to reach a machining location; a single ball feed unit which is arranged in the vicinity of the transfer unit and which picks up a single ball and feeds the single ball to the machining location; a chuck unit which is arranged on the transfer unit and which moves in the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction to reach the machining location, and receives, supports, and rotates the single ball fed by the single ball feed unit; a head unit which is arranged on a support frame on the base so as to be movable in the X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis and θ-axis directions, and which rotates a cutting blade on the surface of the single ball being supported and rotated by the chuck unit, so as to form a groove in the shape of an arc; and a control unit for controlling the transfer unit, the single ball feed unit, the chuck unit and the head unit.
