Abstract:
A single cell electrophoretic measurement chip, a chip holding unit, and a single cell electrophoresis processing apparatus are disclosed. The single cell electrophoretic measurement chip, chip holding unit, and single cell electrophoresis processing apparatus according to the present invention are capable of: easily and quickly evaluating the degree of DNA damage in cell nuclei, which occurs when exposed to various factors (such as UV, radiation, oxidative damage, and toxic substances), at the level of a single cell; increasing the accuracy of the result of an experiment by uniformly loading a sample for the electrophoresis experiment; and increasing the convenience of a user by integrating processing procedures for respective stages and being miniaturized to allow the experiment even in a narrow space. In addition, the present invention can reduce time spent in processing for the electrophoresis experiment, also significantly reduce the amount of a buffer used, and increase the reproducibility and reliability of the experiment result by minimizing disturbance factors by an experimenter through the automation-based experiment.
