Abstract:
A special motor such as the one mentioned in patent document 1 is further improved to increase the utilization efficiency or operation rate thereof. Provided is a single-phase AC synchronous motor (1) that implements a control wherein a control unit (19) is made to be capable of detecting at least one or a plurality of events from among locking stoppage, excess or deficiency in rotational speed, and reverse rotation, and a counter (41) of the control unit (19) is made to count the number of events detected, and wherein the starting operation is resumed when the count is not more than a prescribed plurality of times, and the starting operation is stopped when the count exceeds the prescribed plurality of times.
