Abstract:
A single-phase grounding fault handling apparatus for a power distribution network with a non-effectively grounding neutral point comprises a split-phase arc quenching apparatus that is connected between the earth and a three-phase bus of the power distribution network, and a controller with an input end connected to a single-phase grounding phase selection apparatus. The split-phase arc quenching apparatus comprises a multiphase switching apparatus that can operate in a split-phase mode and a fuse that is connected thereto in series. The controller is used for controlling opening-closing gates of three single-phase switches corresponding to the three-phase bus in the multiphase switching apparatus. A fault handling method comprises: first using the controller to control the split-phase arc quenching apparatus to preprocess a fault; if the fault is cleared, the fault is a transient fault; if the fault persists, using grounding resistance switched to the neutral point to make a faulty line generate a zero sequence current that is detectable, has a prominent feature, and exceeds a zero sequence overcurrent constant value, delaying and waiting the line to automatically isolate a faulty segment, and breaking a grounding connection of the neutral point to make a system return to normal, which solves a difficult in fault line selection and segment positioning.
