Title:
SINGLE PHOTON DETECTION DEVICE AND SINGLE PHOTON DETECTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/016490
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A single photon detection device (200) comprising an interference unit (100). The interference unit (100) comprises: a signal distribution module (110), configured to divide an input signal into a first signal and a second signal; a first signal path (120), coupled to the signal distribution module (110) and configured to receive and transmit the first signal; a second signal path (130), coupled to the signal distribution module (110) and configured to receive the second signal, filter out a signal of a preset frequency component and transmit same; a phase shift module (140), arranged in the first signal path (120) or the second signal path (130) and configured to shift the phase of the transmitted signal by 180°; and a coupling module (150), coupled to the first signal path (120) and the second signal path (130), and configured to receive output signals of the first signal path (120) and the second signal path (130) and output same after coupling. The single photon detection device (200) eliminates a large number of gating interference signals, thereby achieving obvious optimization effects on the detection efficiency, the afterpulsing effect, and the temporal resolution of the single photon detection device (200).
