Abstract:
A sintered alloy bearing produced by compaction molding and sintering a composition comprising 20 to 80 wt % of iron, 15 to 77 wt % of copper, 1 to 26 wt % of zinc, 0.5 to 7 wt % or less of lead, 0.5 to 7 wt % of tin and the balance of unavoidable impurities to a porosity of 8 to 30 vol %. Since this alloy has not only normal mechanical strengths and corrosion resistance but also excellent fit, it is suitable used as the material of a motor bearing of an audio appliance.
