Abstract:
A sintered bearing (1, 2) for a fuel pump containing 8.5-10 wt.% of aluminum and 0.1-0.6 wt.% of phosphorus, the balance principally being copper and unavoidable impurities, wherein the sintered bearing (1, 2) is characterized in having a structure in which an aluminum-copper alloy is sintered and having pores on the surface layer which are smaller than pores in the interior.
