Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a sintered bearing manufacturable at low cost and having high performance and a motor having the sintered bearing. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] This sintered bearing is so formed that the distribution of the dispersive density of a solid lubricating powder mixed in the bearing base material powder of a bearing powder material is varied continuously or stepwise in the axial or radial direction to segregate a solid lubricant with high density to a necessary portion such as that to which high load is applied so that the function of the bearing can be improved without so increasing the amount of the solid lubricating powder. Thus, the function of the bearing can be improved without increasing the added amount of the rather expensive solid lubricant.
