Abstract:
A sintered body containing a first material that is partially stabilized ZrO2 in which cubic boron nitride and Al2O3 are dispersed on a crystal grain boundary and/or in a crystal grain, the sintered body containing the cubic boron nitride in an amount of 20 to 80 vol% inclusive, wherein nitrogen is contained in an amount of 0.001% to 1% by mass inclusive in the first material when the first material is measured by secondary ion mass spectrometry.
