Title:
SINTERED ORE PRODUCTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/137484
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a sintered ore production method with which, even in the case where performance in granulation of a blended sintering raw material is improved by adding an ultrafine powder raw material to the blended sintering raw material, it is possible to prevent a decrease in productivity after an ore to be sintered has undergone sintering. In this sintered ore production method, a sintered ore is produced by granulating, with a granulator, a blended sintering raw material including iron ores of multiple brands and then firing the resultant granule raw material for sintering in a sintering machine. In the blended sintering raw material, an ultrafine powder raw material in which a predominant quantity is accounted for by particles having a diameter of 10 μm or less is blended so that the quantity of the particles having a diameter of 10 μm or less is increased by 1-10 mass%. In granulation of said blended sintering raw material, coke dust is added while the blended sintering raw material containing no coke dust is being granulated by the granulator.
