Abstract:
This sizing agent for glass fiber contains a starch as a nonvolatile component, said starch containing amylose in an amount of 25 to 100 mass% relative to the whole amount of the starch and having a mean particle diameter of 1 to 12μm. The sizing agent is used for a glass fiber bundle or a glass fiber fabric. By adopting this constitution, the present invention provides: a sizing agent for glass fiber, being capable of effectively inhibiting the fluffing of a glass fiber fabric; a glass fiber bundle; and a glass fiber fabric using the same.
