Abstract:
The present invention relates to skewer assembly (1) for use in a doner kebab apparatus (2) comprising a main body (5) and a radiant gas burner (6). The skewer assembly (1) comprises a vertical skewer (7), a handle (8) for rotating the skewer (7), wherein the handle (8) comprises a shaft (9) that is detachably attachable to the skewer (7) and a supporting arm (10) for supporting the shaft (9). The supporting arm (10) is mountable to the main body (5). The skewer assembly (1) of the present invention comprises a tray (11) adapted to support the lower end (7b) of the skewer (7) and also to collect the dripping grease and the sliced meat.
