Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a skin cleanser composition which has excellent cleansing power, while being reduced in skin irritancy, and which is capable of giving a comfortable cooling sensation. [Solution] A skin cleanser composition which contains (A) a surfactant, (B) an amphiphilic ester and (C) an ingredient for imparting a cooling sensation, wherein the content of component (A) is from 0.025% by weight to 2% by weight. This skin cleanser composition exhibits excellent cleansing power, while being reduced in skin irritancy, and is capable of giving a comfortable cooling sensation. Consequently, a skin cleanser composition according to the present invention is suitable for use in cleansing of the sensitive and flushing skin such as the sun burnt skin that has been reduced in barrier functions and moisture retainability due to inflammation.
