Abstract:
Provided is a skin cleanser that makes it possible to remove skin soiling such as oil soiling of the hands, without the use of water, and as a result to prevent generation of surfactant-containing wastewater. The present invention comprises a non-ionic surfactant, liquid polyethylene oxide, and powdered crystalline cellulose insoluble or sparingly soluble in water, and is obtained by diluting these to a liquid with a water-based solvent having a (C1-3) saturated monohydric alcohol content of 20-60% and by adding a thickener (gelling agent) and a cationic water-soluble polymer to the liquid to make a cream. The cream is applied to the skin and rubbed with the hand or the like, and is thereby made into fine particles (resembling eraser residue).
