Abstract:
The present invention provides a skin-friendly anti-microbial fabric and processing method thereof. The method of the invention comprises the following steps: (1) extracting a volatile Artemisia argyi oil; (2) using complex coacervation to prepare micro-capsules of the volatile Artemisia argyi oil; (3) manufacturing a volatile Artemisia argyi oil-milk protein fiber: using milk as a basic material and performing dehydration, degreasing, deoiling, separation, and purification to create a casein; then mixing, interlinking, and branching with a polyacrylonitrile to manufacture a raw fluid for spinning; then adding the volatile Artemisia argyi oil micro-capsule to the manufactured raw fluid for spinning; and finally performing wet spinning, coagulation, drawing, drying, bending, setting, and filament winding to manufacture the volatile Artemisia argyi oil-milk protein fiber; (4) weaving: using the volatile Artemisia argyi oil-milk protein fiber manufactured in step (3) as the yarn in a conventional weaving method to manufacture a fabric; (5) dyeing; and (6) post-dyeing finishing. The fabric provided by the invention has a wide-spectrum anti-microbial function, long-lasting action, natural anti-microbial action of 99% or more, and anti-microbial performance of 80% or more.
