Abstract:
Provided is a skin material which makes it possible to suppress the occurrence of a rubbing sound between ribs, prevent a plurality of ribs from easily hindering each other's deflection, and provide a pleasant texture.
A skin material (10) to be attached to a base material (3) is configured to comprise: a skin main boy (11) which covers the inner surface (3a) of the base material (3); a plurality of ribs (20) which are formed integrally with the skin main body (11) so as to protrude from the skin main body (11) toward the base material (3) and are deflected and deformed under a pressing load from the inner surface (11a) of the skin main body (11) toward the base material (3); and a restriction means (30) which is provided in each of the ribs (20) and restricts the deflection direction of the rib (20). The plurality of ribs (20) are arranged so as to form a continuous polygonal shape. The restriction means (30) is configured to restrict the deflection direction of each of the ribs (20) such that the ribs (20) deflect in the directions in which the ribs move away from each other.
