The present invention belongs to the technical field of household appliances. Particularly provided are a skirting device for a floor-type apparatus, and a floor-type apparatus. The present invention aims to solve the problem whereby a skirting part at the bottom of an existing embedded floor-type apparatus (such as a refrigerator) cannot be visually integrated with a cabinet. Therefore, the skirting device of the present invention comprises a base, an end cover, a plurality of transverse air guide plates, and a blocking part, wherein the base is configured to mount the skirting device on the refrigerator; the end cover is arranged at an end of the base and is fixedly connected to the base; the plurality of transverse air guide plates are located below the base, and the transverse air guide plates are fixed to the end cover by means of end parts of the transverse air guide plates; and the blocking part is arranged in the middle of the base. The skirting part of the refrigerator, on which the skirting device of the present invention is mounted, is visually integrated with the cabinet.
