Abstract:
The present invention provides a slag product and a slag product manufacturing method in which hygroscopic expansion of a slag containing free MgO is suppressed. In this slag product manufacturing method that uses steel slag, when the slag product is manufactured by using, as a feedstock, slag obtained by cooling and solidifying molten steel slag, boron equivalent to at least 30 parts by mass, in terms of boron oxide, to 100 parts by mass of the free MgO contained in the steel slag is added to the molten steel slag, and the steel slag to which the boron has been added is mixed, and thereafter cooled and solidified.
