Abstract:
The present invention includes: a plurality of reception means 801, each of which receives a packet via a given path; a reception interval measurement means 802 for measuring the reception interval of packets received by each of the plurality of reception means; a transmission interval measurement means 803 for using a host clock to measure, as a transmission interval, the interval at which a master device transmits packets; a time difference calculation means 804 for calculating the difference between each reception interval and transmission interval; a standard deviation calculation means 805 for obtaining the dispersion from a fixed number of sets of difference calculated along the passage of time by the time difference calculation means 804 for each transmission interval, and for calculating a standard deviation value; a comparison selection means 806 for selecting, for each path, the smallest value from among the values calculated by the standard deviation calculation means 805; and a correction means 807 for using the selected value to perform time correction.
