Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a sleep determining device, a sleep determining method, and a sleep determining program, which can determine a sleep stage accurately and in detail. [Solution] A sleep determining device according to the present invention is provided with: a heart rate data acquiring unit which, on the basis of heart rate data from the body of a user, acquires the ratio between very low frequency (VLF) components, low frequency (LF) components, and high frequency (HF) components of the heart rate, the average of heartbeat intervals (RRI), and the standard deviation of heartbeat intervals (RRI) as heart rate fluctuation parameters representing the state of the heart rate; and a sleep state determining means that determines which one among a first non-REM sleep stage and a second non-REM sleep stage the heart rate fluctuation parameters of the user correspond to on the basis of a first determination condition that is set on the basis of the correlation between the heart rate fluctuation parameters and the first non-REM sleep stage, and a second determination condition that is set on the basis of the correlation between the heart rate fluctuation parameters and the second non-REM sleep stage.
