Abstract:
A fire‑protection sleeve which can be mounted on a wall or ceiling/floor and is intended for closing off lines leading through walls or ceilings/floors, having an intumescent fire‑protection insert, having a wall part which encloses the fire‑protection insert, and has the fire‑protection insert arranged on its inside, and having at least one fastening part projecting radially outwards in the region of at least one end side of the wall part, is characterized in that the intumescent fire‑protection insert is designed in the form of a compliantly deformable, two‑part body which completely fills the space surrounded by the housing and is formed by two half‑cylinders.
