Abstract:
A slice-based communication method and device. The method comprises: an AMF node sending a first request message to an NSSF node; the AMF node receiving a response message from the NSSF node; and acquiring, according to the response message, network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) allowed by a terminal device and service area information corresponding to the allowed NSSAI. By acquiring, from an NSSF node and by means of an AMF node, network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) allowed by a terminal device and service area information corresponding to the allowed NSSAI, the AMF node repeatedly interacting with the NSSF node after a registration area changes due to the movement of a terminal device can be avoided, so that the signalling interaction and processing efficiency are improved and the system overhead is reduced.
