Title:
SLICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND SLICE MANAGEMENT METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/170692
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A slice management system 1 manages slices that are virtual networks generated on a network infrastructure, and is provided with a DNS 5 for storing, on an area-by-area basis, slice information regarding slices to which UE 2 is connectable. In response to the UE 2 making a slice connection request in a movement destination area into which the UE 2 has moved across from another area, the slice management system 1, by referring to the DNS 5, determines whether a connection can be established in the movement destination area to a slice to which a connection has been established in a movement origin area. If it is determined that the connection cannot be established, the slice management system 1 generates the slice in the movement destination area so that the UE 2 can connect to the slice in the movement destination area.
