Abstract:
A slidable electronic device having a side-surface protruding/retracting structure is disclosed. An electronic device according to embodiments of the present invention comprises: a first housing; a second housing slidably coupled to the first housing; a flexible display panel inserted into and withdrawn from the electronic device by a sliding operation between the first housing and the second housing; a protruding/retracting member which protrudes into the space between side-surface portions of the first housing and the second housing, formed on the side surface of the flexible display panel, or is recessed from the space to the inside of the electronic device, during insertion or withdrawal of the flexible display panel; an interlocking structure, which is coupled to the first housing and/or the second housing and changes the sliding operation to a side-surface directional movement of the electronic device; a flexible connection member which has one end coupled to one end of the protruding/retracting member and which has the other end connected to the interlocking structure so to be capable of moving according to the side-surface directional movement; and a guide which is located in the first housing and/or the second housing and which changes, to vertical movement, the side-surface directional movement of the connection member, generated by the action of the interlocking structure.
