Abstract:
A slide assist device provided with a draw-in unit (6) comprising a case (1) mounted to a main body (7) or a mobile body, sliders (2A, 2B) disposed slidably on the case (1), a latch (4) that is supported by the sliders (2A, 2B), and which can switch between a standby position that latches to a corresponding part of the case (1) and a drawn-in position that unlatches, and a pressing means (3); and further provided with a drive member (8) mounted to whichever of the main body (7) and the mobile body that the case is not mounted, and which switches the latch (4) from the standby position to the drawn-in position, as well as from the drawn-in position to the standby position; and capable of, when the latch (4) switches from the standby position to the drawn-in position, moving the mobile body from the body (7) side first position to the second position by way of the drive member using the pressing force accumulated in the pressing means, that is characterized by the latch (4) having a shaft (43) with a flat surface, by the shaft fitting so as to be rotatable in a shaft bore (20a) installed in the sliders (2A, 2B) and which has a position regulatory surface (20b) that corresponds to the flat surface, and by the aforementioned flat surface and position regulatory surface opposing each other when the latch (4) is switched to the standby position.
