Abstract:
A crank bearing having a semicircular upper bearing and semicircular lower bearing
that are splittable. The upper bearing has a first oil path for leading engine
oil from the outside to between the crank bearing and a crank journal and also has
a second oil path for causing the engine oil to flow in the circumferential direction
of the crank bearing. The first oil path has an inner peripheral side opening
open on the inner peripheral side of the upper bearing. The upper bearing has
an uncut section having no oil path and provided rearward, relative to the rotational
direction of the crank journal, of the inner peripheral side opening. A chamfered
oil path is formed in at least either a portion forward, relative to the rotational
direction of the crank journal, of the inner peripheral side opening or the lower
bearing.
