Abstract:
Provided is a slide fastener in which first and second sliders can be aligned substantially automatically after being abutted against each other. A slide fastener 1 is provided with: a pair of fastener stringers (10A, 10B) that respectively have element rows (12) along the longitudinal direction; a first slider (20) that is openable/closable between the element rows (12) of the pair of fastener stringers (10A, 10B); and a second slider (40) that is openable/closable between the element rows (12) of the pair of fastener stringers (10A, 10B) and that allows a rear opening (40b) lateral end of the second slider (40) to be abutted against a rear opening (20b) lateral end of the first slider (20). The first slider (20) is provided with: a first body (21); a first pull connection part (22) that is provided to the first body (21); a first pull (30) that is connected to the first pull connection part (22) so as to be rotatable in the longitudinal direction; and an elastic member (24) that biases, in the rotation direction, the first pull (30) toward an initial position where the first pull comes down toward the rear opening (20b) side of the first slider (20). The second slider (40) is provided with a second body (41) and includes an engagement part (42). The first pull (30) has a to-be-engaged part (33) that is engageable, at the initial position, with the engagement part (42) of the second slider (40) in the state where the lateral ends of the rear openings (20b, 40b) of the first and second sliders (20, 40) are abutted against each other.
