Abstract:
A slide fastener (1) according to the present invention comprises: a pair of a first stringer member (11) and a second stringer member (12); a slider (20); and a first stopper (30) and a second stopper (40) that set slide limit positions of the slider (20). A coupling column (24) in a slider body (21) of the slider (20) has a tapered portion (24c) in which the width dimension of the coupling column (24) diminishes gradually towards a rear opening. When the slider (20) is positioned at a slide limit position, the first stopper (30) and the second stopper (40) are positioned within an accommodation region (29) that covers from a shoulder tip-side end position of the tapered portion (24c) of the coupling column (24) in the longitudinal direction to the position of the rear opening, and both stoppers come into contact with each other. This configuration makes it possible to have improved appearance quality of the slide fastener (1) in a closed state, since element attaching members (13) located on the left and right and extending from the shoulder tip of the slider (20) are be kept in a parallel or near-parallel state.
