Abstract:
The present invention relates to a slide module for protecting a camera of a portable terminal, and more specifically, to a slide module for protecting a camera of a portable terminal which can protect a camera lens from the outside by opening and closing the camera lens mounted on the portable terminal when necessary. According to the present invention, the slide module for protecting the camera of the portable terminal comprises: a case which is equipped with an opening portion in order to expose a lens of a camera that is mounted on the portable terminal to the outside, and is combined with the portable terminal; a guider which is combined with the case when an elastic projection thereof, which has elastic force in the upper and lower directions, is settled in a settling groove that is positioned on one side; a fixing plate which is combined with the guider to allow a sliding motion thereon, wherein the position of the fixing plate is elastically fixed at the opening and closing position of the opening portion by the elastic projection; and a protecting cover which is combined with the upper side of the fixing plate in order to prevent the fixing plate from being exposed, and opens and closes the opening portion along with the sliding motion of the fixing plate.
